| Michi Rezin is a San Francisco-based fashion photographer who has been behind the lens since 2001. A California native, Rezin proved a precocious talent whose first experiences with photography occurred in her early teens. After exploring byroads into illustration and animation, she ultimately succumbed to the siren song of her original inspirations, dedicating herself to the photography of fashion at San Francisco’s Academy of Art. Suffusing her compositions with an aura of dark fragility, Rezin operates in a dichotomous space, drawing inspiration from eras of the past while conjuring an interpretation of the future: shadowy, mysterious, and gritty, yet never without its elegance. |
